Now, I have never been a "Batman Fan". I accept him for what he is and enjoy his stories. I like him. But I've ALWAYS been a Superman fanatic (wore my Superman shirt to the opening of Dark Knight.. I have never been glared at so hard in my LIFE.. but it was hilarious anyway)

However, Under the Red Hood, the new DC animated movie, has gotten me into a bit of a fangasm. Why? Because of the way it was just.. perfect (aside from Jason Todd wearing Tim Drake's Robin costume, which didn't exist until AFTER Jason was dead and risen again.... so.. physically no way that could've existed BEFORE Superboy died and.. well, it's a comic thing.. you'd have to read it to follow my rambling... anyway)
It took the comic and pretty much word-for-word replicated it. BRILLIANT voices, BRILLIANT artistic direction, BRILLIANT writing.. it was... perfect. And I don't believe Jason's voice actor has DONE voice work before.. impressive because he was DEAD ON perfect for Jason Todd. Legit. GUH. that's my happy noise of pleasure. GUUUUH.

Also, it tied up a certain thing I hated about the comic BUT also kinda killed it. Li. Yeah. The Black Mask's assistant. Li. In the comic he meets a rather unfortunate end... *crycry* but in this, HE LIVES! Downside is that he is now a she. It was funnier when the "mother" figure (aka, acting like Black Mask's Mom rather than a henchman) was actually a monotone, deadpan asian guy in a business suit. It was kind of a "yaoi?" relationship of like. You almost want it, but Black Mask is .. well his face was fused with a mask. That's gross.. so you don't want poor Li getting that in his face. But their dynamic is so fucking funny... like. bickering. black mask all pissy and li just sighing and saying he's alreayd done whatever it was black mask wanted him to do before he asked. Or li getting on him about something and Black Mask screaming "IT'S LIKE RUNNING A CRIME SYNDICATE WITH MY MOTHER!!! ><"

Other than that minor detail, yeah. pretty brilliant. I'll give it to the voice of Bender from Futurama though. He makes a good Joker. Joker in the comic was a bit beefier than other Jokers were. So this worked really well. And it took him in sort of a new, sarcastic, trying to be annoying direction. Where you could TELL he was being genuine, but playing it up when he wanted to. His freak out at the end and when he leaves Jason. Good stuff.

SO yeah. right now, batman mood.. but Supes will always be my one true hero.

Dude. Went to PAX today... omfg. amazing. Bean bag chairs in the two huge hallways of the Hynes. People mostly slept in them. the rest played games.

I was cosplaying Neku (fucking freezing btw) and I was interviewed, I'm on Kotaku.com and I had my photo requested 56 times. wtf. xD not a con I'd normally cosplay to, but it was fun. not sure how people found me for pictures since I was like. legit sitting in an out of the way corner for an hour and a half behind people xD and I still got like. 14 pictures there. wtf.

Can't wait for tomorrow when my Joshua I mean... that bastard Joshua >> will be with me.

I plan to give Tycho (and Gabe) an O-Pin, because he's the one who got me into TWEWY in the first place. Yes, blame him for my Neku cosplay.

For anyone going to Another Anime Con this year in Nashua, NH, I'll be teaching a Ballroom Dancing Class Friday around noon (they don't have my official time yet!).

I'll be teaching the class as UK and we'll be going over ballroom etiquette, the proper way to hold yourself and your partner on the floor, how to step, and finally, how to dance. The reason for all the preparation is because.. if doesn't matter what I teach you about dancing. If you don't know how to step correctly (ball of your foot), then nothing I show will do much good, will it? So we'll be going over that and especially how to hold your partner. There is actually a RIGHT and WRONG way to do this (more wrong than right actually) and I'd like people to be able to to this right, as it makes everything else so much easier and, I think, will make everyone feel more like they really know this dance. We'll be doing a waltz (international/viennese mix I think.. some moves are easier in one than the other, but I may just end up going Viennese.. since that looks nicer xD)

Anyway, if you're planning on going, please do! If I can, I'll get pictures and post them up :3 and if you're going to the Ball, don't be afraid to ask for a dance. If I see you sitting alone? I'll more than likely end up asking any girls to dance :3 (girls because really.. that's the proper way for a gentleman to act!) but if you would like to dance with me (short UK, british accent, knows how to waltz) then PLEASE feel free to ask. I'll absolutely do so unless I have a line of people (already know about 8 who want to dance with me thus far) but once I get them out of the way xD I'll be happy to do this (and I'll be there early to take over the dance floor lol. so we can do a nice awesome waltz xD. UK also knows Disco and Swing. Don't ask why. Just enjoy that trivia)

I'm pretty excited about it. xD it means I get to actually cosplay with she and Roxas xD they're usually doing KH and a while back, Rue talked me out of doing the Zexion cosplay I'd been wanting to do (stating that the fandom sucks. it's true xD they do. but god damn, I love my evil little man lol). However, this opened up a really intense option that she and Roxas brought up in the car yesterday: Anti-Sora. I'm more Sora's height anyway, I'm insanely flexible, and I like a challenge. Where's the challenge in buying your coat and just wearing it? Now wiring eyes, making the suit glow, and sculpting shoes/outfit/face... okay now THAT... is a challenge x3 and since my Taokaka outfit is falling through (since someone hasn't been doing his part of the research~) I'll have to drop that for now and move on. x3 and how badass would it be if I was anti-sora, crawling around the stage for a walk-on? that's right. REALLY badass. xD so!!!!!!!!!!! Uber excited to start this :3 it WILL happen, so long as I can figure out the wiring and get the wig worked on *big eyes at Roxas* will you help me *-*? I'll pays you~?
but yeah. if I can figure out the wiring... that's the only thing holding me back. My Uncle Bill, while not a huge influence on me, is a good guy, but also my example of "why you shouldn't drink." but he's also given me the ability to use music and tone to express myself. he can play any kind of music and he's always happy to just hang out and jam. I should sing for him more..
My uncle Doug was on Oprah. yeah. the talk show. he's a millionaire because he blew the whistle on a few pharmaceutical companies he worked for (he has a STRONG sense of Justice). He's just a good guy. He'd never do anything to hurt you, he put his parents in the best medical/senior care money can buy, when my family went bankrupt, he was there to help us out. He still does. Since my parents can't work, we get disability, but he pays out schooling and sends checks every month to help us out. He buys people cars when they needs them, houses, he's always got "some table he was replacing. he was gonna throw it out so you can have it" even though we know he just bought you a new table.. he tries to make it sound like he's not doting.. and the one thing he wants, despite having money, is for his daughters, who're married with children, to know what it's like to be stay at home moms if that's what they want. He'd like to give them the opportunity to be with their kids. he requires that atleast the husbands work or vice versa. So they don't feel like they're just getting money. So they feel they contribute. just anything. even a hobby that brings in some money. He's always willing to give second chances. I think he's the reason I'm so much like L now.

uuuuuuh I can play several depending on the instrument. first and only time I ever picked up a harp I played like... every song from nightmare before christmas, I played most of the FFVII soundtrack, and I played ... some Elvis song xD; I don't remember which. it was 4 years ago. haha. *musically inclined.. can hear the tones and figure it out quickly*

Oh man... hard to say.... I think... from middle school, Mrs. Martin (really just inspired me to remain who I am and not change for people), from high school... Mr. Armor (encouraged me to become a teacher and be my own expressive, unique self) and Mr. Klin (he helped me figure something out... very important. something he saw that I didn't at the time), from college, Dave (whom I converted to Death Note) and Dexter (who was just... amazing, understanding, and a great guy. he just nutured who I was, understood it, and was never upset by who I was or how I treated school. I wouldn't show up but I did the work. he got that and he accepted that I loved the subject matter, just didn't much feel like studying. but really GOT that I knew the subject matter. just.. not into putting effort in when I deemed it unimportant to me. xD I love Dexter.)
